  Losing a loved one is a terrible and emotional ordeal. Then to have a funeral home that continued to make the process even harder is by far damaging. They began by placing flowers in the wrong room during the wake, not once but 3 times. The gentleman kept coming in and interrupting the service. Then to make make matters worse they FORGOT to order the limo for the day of the funeral. How incompetent! Finally, to make the situation unbearable they locked the family out of the funeral home. It's a disgrace that they are in a business that requires compass and thoughtfulness.

  I would not recommend this establishment at all because this place is the epitome of unprofessionalism. On Sunday, they put flowers sent for our service into the wrong room 3 TIMES. During the 2-4 service there was a separate service taking place at the same time and there were no signs directing the guests where to go. Instead, you had a man standing in front saying "Are you here for the guy or the girl?" They didn't even have the respect to use the names of the deceased. Then later during the 7-9 service, there was nobody directing the guests at all. A man sat in front on the phone the whole time and one of the grieving family members had to direct the guests into the room since an employee couldn't be bothered. Then Monday, the priest was 20 minutes late for the service and the woman came in and said "we can't find the priest." So the grieving widow had to get up and go find the priest himself. Then the funeral home FORGOT TO GET THE FAMILY A LIMO. That was just the icing on the cake. And the best part is, instead of taking responsibility and apologizing for their mistake like any respectable and morally sound person would do, they proceeded to BLAME THE GRIEVING FAMILY. The brother and sister that run the subpar establishment claimed that the family never fully ordered a limo and they were supposed to call and confirm if they wanted one or not. Well if that was the case then why was there a charge for a limo on the bill that was paid? This place made a very difficult 2 days more painful than they already were and all those affiliated with the funeral home should be ashamed of themselves.

  As a retired funeral director I was Outraged by the conduct of the staff of Snickersons Funeral Home. The unprofessionalism that was displayed was as follows flowers to put in wrong chapel Staff said it wasn't their fault it was the fault of the florist. It is the responsibility of the funeral home staff to place the flowers in the correct chapel. And during the wake funeral home employees were-removing the cards from the floral arrangements totally unacceptable. Their callus attitude shows that these employees should find another line of work because they are not a right fit for being funeral home employees. I urge all of you who are thinking of having a love one waked here go someplace else because in your time of stress and sorrow it will be worse by having to deal with these perfidious phonies. If they show this attitude outwardly God only knows what goes on behind the scenes.

  I recently lost a very dear friend of mine and choose this funeral home for his services. The staff did everything for me from helping me with selecting beautiful prayer cards to memorialize him, to suggesting local florist and arranging a Priest to say prayers at his final resting place. The building is impectable, very homey feel inside and a huge flat screen tv on the wall that could be seen from anywhere in the room to show pictures of all the good times we had. I would highly recommend this funeral home. As far as pricing goes you get what you pay for, service above and beyond my expectations at a difficult time, a familiar face everytime we came in and no matter what I asked for they accommodated me. Hope this helps someone else who might need to have to deal with a difficult situation.
